First, we meet…
We will meet at your convenience to get to know one another, discuss each party’s needs and expectations, and to review the overall scope of the project. At this time we will also explain our standard engagement agreement. Should we decide to proceed with the next step of your project, we will schedule an appointment for:
-
Step 2, the Consultation: For this
meeting we will need to be at the job site, as this is when we will
discuss your design and lifestyle needs and expectations, we will measure
(everything!) and take the “before” photographs. It is extremely helpful, but not necessary, to have floor plans available for copying. We will document and measure any existing items you wish to incorporate into the design, review and refine fabric, furniture, fixture, finish and color options based upon your lifestyle and décor
needs, and we will establish financial parameters. Following this meeting,
we will take all of the gathered information back to our office and develop
a design plan.

-
Step 3, The Presentation! At this point we will schedule a meeting to present our design plan and
discuss our vision for your project. Should our vision match yours and
you approve of the presentation, we will prepare interior architectural
drawings which, after your further approval, will be submitted for competitive
bids to contractors. We will also prepare purchase orders for merchandise
and construction for your approval.
-
Step 4, The Entire Package We now have a detailed budget, contractor bids, and specification package.
Following your approval of all, we will begin to order all materials
and to schedule the work to be performed by any contractors. During the
construction/installation phase, you will receive regular updates on
your project and will be kept apprised of any changes or further selections
requiring your approval.
-
Step 5, The Walk Through Our final meeting will take place at the job site where we will do a
final “inspection” of the work performed. We will create a punch list of items not completed or not meeting either your or our expectations. Following the completion of all, we will toast another successful Transition to the “After.”
